In the first quarter of 2025, the top shopping applications in Brazil showed varied performance trends on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at around 1.5M in mid-March. Its active user base also saw an increase, reaching approximately 9.8M in early March, before declining to about 4.9M by the end of the quarter.
Shopee Brasil - Frete Zero maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 481K to 715K. The app's active users showed resilience, with numbers consistently around the 90M mark, peaking at approximately 95.5M in early March.
Mercado Libre: Compras Online saw weekly downloads hover between 486K and 641K. Active users showed a stable upward trend, culminating in about 83.6M by the end of March.
Amazon Shopping reported a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at over 411K by mid-March. Revenue remained robust, reaching nearly $100K in the same period, while active users increased to about 36.2M.
Magalu: compras com descontos showed a decline in weekly downloads, from 566K at the start of the quarter to 264K by the end. Active users followed a similar downward trend, settling around 22.9M by the close of March.
