In the first quarter of 2025, the top social apps in the United Arab Emirates showcased varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower highlights these trends, offering insights into user engagement and app profitability.
Facebook from Meta Platforms, Inc. maintained a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 81K in late January. The app's weekly revenue showed fluctuations, with a high of approximately $30K in late February. Active users hovered around 5.5M, indicating stable user engagement.
TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE demonstrated strong financial performance, with weekly revenue peaking at around $1.4M at the end of March. Although downloads slightly decreased over the quarter, active users remained steady, reaching approximately 3.9M by March.
Instagram experienced a mixed quarter, with weekly revenue peaking at about $103K mid-January before tapering off. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 65K weekly, while active users steadily increased, closing at nearly 3.8M.
Threads saw a gradual rise in downloads, reaching over 54K in January. The active user base showed notable growth, climbing from 1.4M to 1.8M by the end of the quarter, indicating growing popularity.
Video Downloader HD - Vidow showed consistent download figures, peaking at around 27K in late January. Active users saw a steady increase, reaching over 65K by the end of March.
