State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the first quarter of 2025, the top social apps in Germany exhibited varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Facebook by Meta Platforms, Inc. saw weekly revenue fluctuate, reaching peaks of approximately $32.3K at the start of January. Weekly downloads showed a peak of around 221K in early February, while active users remained fairly stable, averaging around 20M.
TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE experienced a steady revenue increase, peaking at about $5.4M in late March. Downloads saw a decline from 164K at the beginning of January to approximately 134K by the end of March. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 13M.
Instagram maintained a consistent revenue stream, with notable peaks in mid-January at around $136K. Downloads decreased from 142K in early January to 110K by the end of March. Active user numbers hovered around 18M throughout the quarter.
Threads saw a varied download trend, starting at 163K and ending at 128K. Active users showed a slight upward trend, reaching over 5.5M in mid-March.
Video Downloader HD - Vidow had a stable download rate, peaking at 28K in late January. Active users increased from 57K to 66K by the end of March.
