In the first quarter of 2025, superhero games in Finland displayed varied performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends for the top five games in this category.
Spider Fighter 3: Action Game from Starplay DMCC saw its weekly revenue peaking at $10 in mid-February, followed by fluctuations and ending at $3. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase mid-quarter, peaking at 455. Active users showed a modest increase early on, reaching a peak of 1.2K before experiencing a gradual decline.
The Superhero League 2 by Lion Studios exhibited a significant revenue spike of $75 in January, which tapered off to $17 by late March. Weekly downloads gradually increased, peaking at 524, while active users consistently rose, reaching over 3.1K by the end of the quarter.
DC: Dark Legion™, a new entry from FunPlus International AG, launched in March with notable revenue growth, reaching $2K by the end of the month. Downloads started strong at 1.2K but saw a reduction to 478. Active users peaked at 1.7K shortly after launch, followed by a decline to 724.
Web Master: Stickman Superhero from CASUAL AZUR GAMES maintained steady download numbers, peaking at 270, with a consistent increase in active users, reaching almost 2.5K by March end, despite no revenue generated during this period.
Lastly, Spider Fighting: Hero Game by Zego Studio showed a downward trend in downloads, starting at 505 and dropping to 71 by March. Active users followed a similar pattern, declining from 3.3K to just over 2.1K.
