State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the first quarter of 2025, the travel and local apps sector in Italy saw varied performance among the top five apps, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Flightradar24 Flight Tracker from Flightradar24 AB showed a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $7.2K in the last week of March. Downloads fluctuated but saw a high of around 12.1K in the final week, while active users decreased from 431K to about 323K over the quarter.
Outdooractive. Hike and Ride experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, closing the quarter at $4.6K. Downloads also rose, reaching 2.7K by March’s end. Active users increased significantly, starting at 55K and climbing to 64K.
park4night - Motorhome camper saw a gradual increase in revenue, ending March with $2.1K. Downloads followed a similar upward trend, peaking at 2.4K. Active users showed remarkable growth, with numbers escalating from 23K to over 41K.
OsmAnd — Maps & GPS Offline recorded a peak in revenue at $2.5K in late March. Downloads saw a gradual increase, reaching nearly 2K. However, active users declined from 18.4K to around 14.3K.
Finally, the Couchsurfing Travel App by Couchsurfing Inc. maintained a relatively stable revenue, closing the quarter at $1.1K. Downloads remained modest, peaking at 383, while active users fluctuated slightly, ending at 5.8K.
