In the first quarter of 2025, the top tycoon games in the UK showed varied performance trends on the unified platform. Here's a closer look at how each app fared.
Township from Playrix saw a steady flow of weekly revenue, peaking at around $612K in the first week of January. Downloads began at 132K at the start of the quarter, gradually decreasing to about 43K by the end of March. Active users started strong at 458K, with a slight decline to 365K by the quarter's end.
Klondike Adventures: Farm Game by VIZOR APPS LTD maintained consistent weekly revenue, hovering around $122K initially, with some fluctuations throughout the quarter. Downloads began at 12.6K, with a noticeable dip to 5.5K by late March. Active users increased from 26K to a peak of 50K mid-quarter before settling at 27K.
Family Island — Farming game by Melsoft experienced a significant rise in revenue, reaching $162K in late February. Downloads were relatively stable, starting at 8.6K and ending at 10K. Active users showed a strong recovery from 22K to over 37K by the end of the quarter.
Hay Day from Supercell had fluctuating revenue, peaking at $177K in the last week of March. Downloads decreased from 9.8K to 4.8K over the quarter. Active users remained stable, ranging from 82K to about 90K.
Finally, SimCity BuildIt by Electronic Arts had a steady performance with revenue starting at $41K and ending at $44K. Downloads were consistent, with slight variations from 7.2K to 5.7K. Active users declined from 28K to 19K during the quarter.
