In the first quarter of 2025, the zombie game genre showed varied performance across the top 5 apps on a unified platform in the United States. Here's a closer look at their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.
Last War:Survival by FUNFLY PTE. LTD. experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at around $12.7M and peaking mid-February at approximately $16.3M. Weekly downloads began strong with over 320K but saw a gradual decrease, stabilizing around 187K by the end of March. The active user base also showed a downward trend, decreasing from 838K to 727K.
Plants vs. Zombies™ from Electronic Arts maintained a modest weekly revenue, peaking at $7K in late March. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 75K in early January before dropping to 55K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased significantly from 415K to 567K.
Doomsday: Godzilla x Kong by IGG SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. had a stable revenue trend, averaging around $220K with a peak of $269K in late March. Downloads saw a decline from 64K in early January to about 44K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 140K.
TDS - Tower Destiny Survive from SayGames LTD showed a decrease in revenue, starting at $26K and dropping to $17K by the end of March. Downloads showed an upward trend mid-quarter, reaching 71K in mid-March. Active users increased from 139K to over 202K.
Finally, Zombie Apocalypse・Shooter Game by Freeplay LLC had a consistent weekly revenue around $20K. Downloads were relatively stable, with a slight increase from 50K to 48K by the end of March. Active users increased steadily, reaching over 312K.
