In the second quarter of 2025, the casual gaming scene in the United Kingdom on the Android platform showcased some interesting trends. Here, we take a closer look at the top five casual games, examining their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Coin Master from Moon Active experienced fluctuations in revenue, starting at approximately $1.27M and ending the quarter with a peak of around $1.28M. Weekly downloads saw a peak of about 9.4K in mid-June, while active users declined from 97.7K to around 74.3K.
MONOPOLY GO! by Scopely showed a notable increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately $829K in mid-June. Downloads peaked at 13.6K during the same period, and active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 180K.
The iconic Candy Crush Saga from King displayed a significant revenue drop from $534K to $319K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 9.4K in mid-April, while active users saw a decrease from 451K to 349K.
Royal Match by Dream Games, Ltd. experienced a steady revenue stream, with a notable peak of $446K in early May. Downloads peaked at 18K in late May, and active users saw a slight decline from 375K to 327K by the end of the quarter.
Finally, Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story from Microfun Limited showed consistent growth in revenue, rising to $273K by the end of June. Downloads, however, saw a decline, with a low of about 1.9K in late May before recovering slightly. Active users dropped from 71K to 60.8K.
