State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the second quarter of 2025, the fast food and fast casual restaurant sector on Android in Switzerland saw varying trends among the top applications. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads and active user metrics.
McDonald's experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 3K in the last week of June. The app's active user base hovered around 100K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 118K.
For Burger King CH, downloads showed a decline towards the end of the quarter, starting from 1.3K and dropping to around 576. Despite this, their weekly active users rose steadily, hitting a high of about 20.5K in late June.
McDonald’s Deutschland saw a consistent pattern in downloads, maintaining figures around the 300 mark, while active users demonstrated a peak of 1.7K in mid-May before a slight fall to 1.1K by the end of June.
The Starbucks Switzerland app recorded a steady number of downloads, with a notable spike to 353 in early June. However, active user data was not available for this period.
Lastly, Brezelkönig maintained a modest download rate, averaging around 100 per week. Their active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 1.5K throughout the quarter.
