In the second quarter of 2025, the top five investing and financial management apps on the Android platform in the United States displayed varied performance trends. According to Sensor Tower, these apps showed significant fluctuations in weekly downloads and active users.
Coinbase: Buy BTC, ETH, SOL experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 55.8K in late April before declining to around 38.2K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users started at approximately 3.0M, with numbers fluctuating throughout the quarter, ultimately dropping to about 2.2M.
Robinhood: Trading & Investing saw an initial surge in downloads, reaching over 59.2K in early April. However, downloads decreased to about 27.4K by the end of June. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users slightly fluctuating but remaining above 4.4M throughout the quarter.
Fidelity Investments showed a consistent download trend, with numbers peaking at around 31.8K in the first week of April. The app's active users hovered around 1.5M, showing a gradual increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 1.56M.
Crypto.com: Buy BTC, ETH & CRO increased its weekly downloads over the quarter, peaking at approximately 21.4K in early June. Active user numbers were more volatile, starting at 1.3M and decreasing to just over 921K by the quarter's end.
Kraken: Buy Stocks & Crypto demonstrated impressive growth in weekly revenue, rising from $881 to over $12.1K by the end of June. Downloads also increased, reaching 21.1K, while active users rose steadily, peaking at 237K in early June.
