In the second quarter of 2025, the leading navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in South America demonstrated varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at these trends.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained strong weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 299K during mid-April. Weekly active users showed a slight fluctuation, starting at around 25.2M and peaking at 26.9M in mid-April before settling at 25.9M by the end of June.

Google Earth experienced a steady weekly download rate, with numbers ranging from 65K to 88K. Active users showed a notable increase, peaking at 1.44M towards the end of June.

GPS Map Driving Directions saw an early spike in downloads, reaching 79K in early May, followed by a decline. Active users mirrored this pattern, peaking at 70K in mid-May.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, with a peak of around $24.9K by the end of June. Downloads started at 23K and increased to 35K in mid-June, while active users hovered around 373K.
