In the second quarter of 2025, the puzzle game category on the Android platform in France showcased interesting trends. Here's a closer look at the top five games in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
June's Journey: Hidden Objects from Wooga experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $54.7K in late June. The game saw a downward trend in downloads, starting from approximately 3K in early April and dropping to around 2.2K by the end of June. However, weekly active users showed a strong performance, increasing from 34.1K in early April to 48.8K by the end of the quarter.
Color Block Jam by Rollic Games had a consistent revenue stream, averaging around $17K to $20K weekly. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 46.9K in early May, while active users remained strong, reaching 151.6K in mid-May before stabilizing around 132K by the end of June.
Manor Matters, developed by Playrix, saw a steady decline in revenue, ending the quarter at approximately $13.9K. Downloads were modest, with figures around 500 to 1K weekly. The game’s active users decreased significantly from 78K to 46.8K over the quarter.
Screwdom 3D from iKame Games - Zego Studio demonstrated varied revenue trends, peaking at $19.5K in late June. Downloads also showed variability, with a notable dip in mid-May, but recovered to around 13.2K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 52.9K.
Angry Birds 2 by Rovio Entertainment Oy maintained a stable revenue pattern, averaging around $8K to $10K weekly. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 5.8K and ending at 4.2K. Active users saw a notable increase, rising from 36.8K to 43.4K by the end of June.
