State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the second quarter of 2025, the travel and local app market in Latin America showcased varied performance among the top five apps on the Android platform. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Airbnb witnessed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 347K and dipping to around 171K by the end of June. Despite the drop in downloads, weekly active users remained robust, fluctuating between 6.1M and 6.9M throughout the quarter.
Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map experienced a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, beginning at 243K and ending at 151K. Revenue was modest, peaking at $147 towards the end of June. The app's weekly active users hovered around 1.1M to 1.4M, with a slight upward trend towards the quarter's close.
Google Earth maintained a consistent download pattern, with figures ranging from 82K to 110K. Active users varied from 1.6M to 1.8M, indicating stable engagement throughout the quarter.
The SUBE app saw a steady download rate, averaging around 81K weekly, and active users fluctuated between 3.5M and 3.9M, showing consistent usage.
Finally, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel observed a slight decline in downloads, starting at 94K and settling at 88K by the end of June. Active users remained stable, ranging from 4.4M to 5.0M during the quarter.
