Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps iOS Performance in Germany, Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Germany showcased notable trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Uber - Request a ride saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 77K in the last week of June. Active users started the quarter at approximately 594K, rising to 755K by mid-June before slightly decreasing to 707K at the quarter's end.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a steady growth in downloads, reaching roughly 31K in the final week of June. Active users increased from 583K at the start of the quarter to nearly 698K by the end.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery had a declining trend in downloads, starting at around 6.5K and dropping to 4.3K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 29.5K to 17.6K over the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus showed moderate fluctuations in downloads, ending the quarter with about 5.1K. Active users varied throughout the quarter, starting at 108K, peaking at 158K in mid-April, and settling at 121K by the end of June.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a stable trend in downloads, with numbers ranging from 2.1K to 3K. Active users slightly increased from 32.4K to around 35.9K during the quarter.
