In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top free-to-play games on the iOS platform in Russia demonstrated a variety of trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers insights into the gaming landscape.
Block Blast! from Hungry Studio showed a mixed performance. Weekly downloads started at around 74K, dipped mid-quarter, and then rose to approximately 47K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar decline from 3M to slightly over 2M, with a minor uptick at the quarter's end. Revenue was negligible, peaking at only $12 in late April.
Word Search Puzzles for Adults by MALPA GAMES experienced a peak in downloads of 84K mid-April, followed by a decline to around 31K by late June. Revenue decreased from $237 at the start of the quarter to $186 by the end. Active users saw a gradual increase, ending the quarter at around 102K.
Pizza Ready! from Supercent, Inc. showed a steady rise in both downloads and revenue. Downloads increased from 23K to 62K, while revenue rose from $262 to $734. Active users also climbed significantly, reaching around 138K by the quarter's close.
Roblox maintained consistent performance, with downloads fluctuating between 38K and 47K. Revenue peaked at $4.5K in mid-May. Active users grew steadily, reaching over 3.3M by the end of June.
Subway Surfers from Sybo Games ApS saw a stable increase in downloads from 30K to 45K. Revenue varied, with a peak of $1.1K in early June. Active users also showed growth, ending the quarter at around 930K.
