In the second quarter of 2025, the top investing and financial management apps on the iOS platform in Switzerland exhibited varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active user metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Swissquote Trading saw a notable increase in downloads at the beginning of April, reaching approximately 3.3K. However, this number gradually decreased to around 900 by the end of June. Meanwhile, weekly active users fluctuated between 8.3K and 11.6K, ending the quarter at about 10.4K.
CSS Coin experienced a significant spike in downloads in late April, peaking at over 3K. This was followed by a decline, with downloads dropping to about 269 in the last week of June.
eToro: Investing made social had a steady start with downloads hovering around 1.3K in early April. Downloads decreased steadily, closing the quarter at approximately 493. The app maintained a consistent active user base, peaking at about 6K users in early June before dropping slightly to around 4.9K by the end of the quarter.
Capital.com: Trading & Finance downloads showed a decline from over 1.1K in early April to around 352 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 8.9K and ending at approximately 7.1K.
Lastly, Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a relatively stable download rate, starting at 545 and ending at 411. The app's active users saw a peak of over 44K in mid-May, before decreasing to about 34.8K by the end of June.
