In the second quarter of 2025, the top five player-versus-player (PVP) games on the iOS platform in the United States showed varied performance in terms of revenue, downloads, and active users. Here's a closer look at each game's performance, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.
Fortnite: Mobile Battle Royale from Epic Games Inc. saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $1.1M in mid-May and peaking at around $1.2M in early June, before declining to $766K by the end of June. Weekly downloads decreased steadily from 1.5M to 575K over the quarter. However, weekly active users rose consistently, reaching 3M by the end of June.
Roblox by Roblox Corporation experienced a relatively stable revenue stream, with figures hovering around $400K to $470K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads showed an upward trend, culminating in 400K downloads in the final week of June. Active users increased significantly, starting at 24.5M in mid-May and reaching 31.3M by the end of the quarter.
Kingshot from Century Games Pte. Ltd. demonstrated impressive growth in weekly revenue, peaking at $3.3M in the last week of June. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 442K in late May, before settling at 261K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased to about 371K by the end of June.
Delta Force by Level Infinite saw a steady decline in both weekly revenue and downloads. Revenue started at $192K in late April and dropped to $29K by the end of June, while downloads decreased from 733K to 78K in the same period. Active users also showed a downward trend, stabilizing at approximately 281K by the end of June.
Bus Escape: Traffic Jam from ABI GLOBAL LTD. maintained a stable revenue stream, with weekly figures ranging from $167K to $204K. Downloads showed minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at 163K. Active users slightly decreased over the quarter, concluding with 353K in the last week of June.
