In the second quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Luxembourg showed varied performance across the top five applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 576 and peaking at 764 in late May. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, ranging from 13.8K to 15K throughout the quarter.
Rapido: Bike-Taxi, Auto & Cabs saw its weekly downloads vary between 363 and 609, with a notable download peak in mid-April. Active users increased slightly from 2.1K to around 2.6K towards the end of June.
inDrive. Rides with fair fares had weekly downloads ranging from 230 to 584, with a notable dip in early April. The active user base showed a downward trend from 2.3K to about 1.9K by the quarter's end.
Bolt: Request a Ride maintained consistent weekly downloads, starting at 329 and reaching a high of 456 in late May. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 3.1K and 3.5K.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery saw downloads between 131 and 211, with a peak in early June. The app's active users showed a slight increase from 291 to 315 in the same period.
