The second quarter of 2025 saw varied performance trends for the top dating apps in Australia, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a breakdown of how each app fared during this period.
Hinge Dating App: Match & Meet experienced a steady revenue increase, peaking at approximately $454K in mid-May. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, ranging from 12.3K to 14.2K, while active users showed a slight overall increase, ending the quarter with around 310K active users.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat maintained a strong revenue presence, with figures peaking at over $1M in late March. Downloads remained consistent, mostly hovering around 10K weekly, and active user numbers showed resilience, peaking at 416K in early June.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date saw its weekly revenue peak at $360K in April, with downloads gradually declining from 8.8K to around 5.9K by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at approximately 225K.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative showed a steady revenue stream, peaking at $24K in mid-May. Downloads saw a notable increase towards the end of June, reaching over 8.3K, while active users saw a modest increase, finishing the quarter with around 20K.
Finally, Coffee Meets Bagel Dating App had its revenue peak at $18.4K in early June. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 2.5K and 3.9K, while active users showed a significant increase, peaking at 24.1K in early June.
