In the second quarter of 2025, the performance of the top meal kit and specialty food applications in Spain showcased varied trends in downloads, active users, and revenue. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive look into these key metrics.
Aquaservice saw a significant increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter, starting at 3.2K and peaking at approximately 9.7K by the end of June. Concurrently, weekly active users rose steadily from 41.1K to 64.7K, indicating a growing user base.
Vivino: Drink the Right Wine experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, beginning at $548 and reaching a peak of $869 by the end of the period. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak in mid-April at 1.7K. Active users showed a decline from 50.8K to 43K over the quarter.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 900 weekly downloads with minor fluctuations. The app's active users increased slightly, starting at 28.8K and ending at 30.3K.
Bene Bono initially experienced a decline in downloads from 1K to single digits by mid-June. However, active users showed a significant increase late in the quarter, growing from 5.4K to 6.8K.
Healthy Food had minimal download activity, with weekly numbers rarely exceeding 30. Data on active users was not available for this period.
