In the second quarter of 2025, the top educational games in Australia showcased diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Minecraft Education saw a steady flow of weekly downloads, starting at around 16K and experiencing a slight dip to 10K in early June, before rising again to approximately 12.7K by the end of the quarter. The number of active users started at 39.3K, peaked at 64.7K in early June, and settled at 61.6K by the quarter’s close.
Reading Eggs - Learn to Read had a stable revenue stream, beginning at $101.8K and climbing to a peak of $122.3K towards the end of June. Downloads remained fairly consistent, fluctuating around 6K, while active users saw a decline from 49.5K to 43.5K over the quarter.
Lingokids - Play and Learn demonstrated a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $27.2K mid-quarter before stabilizing around $22.1K. Download numbers showed slight variation, peaking at 5.6K in mid-April. Active users remained around the 11K to 12K range throughout the quarter.
ABCmouse 2: Kids Learning Game experienced a modest increase in revenue, with fluctuations between $2.5K and $3.8K. Downloads peaked at 5.4K in May before declining to 2.7K by the end of June. Active users saw an increase from 12.5K to 16K.
Finally, Keiki Learning games for Kids maintained steady revenue, starting at $13.7K and ending at $14.5K. Downloads showed a slight upward trend, reaching nearly 3K by the quarter’s end. Active users hovered around 3K throughout the period.
