State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the second quarter of 2025, the top shopping applications in the United States showed varying trends in downloads and active users. These insights, provided by Sensor Tower, reveal interesting patterns across different apps.
Walmart: Shopping & Savings maintained a solid performance in weekly downloads, oscillating between 380K and 440K, with a peak towards the end of June at approximately 428K. Its weekly active users consistently hovered around 43M to 45M, showing a steady engagement with a slight upward trend by the end of the quarter.
SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 626K and dipping to a low of 205K in early May, before rebounding to over 518K by the end of June. The active user base followed a similar trajectory, starting at 26M, dipping in May, and climbing back to nearly 30M by the end of the quarter.
Shop: All your favorite brands saw a steady pattern in weekly downloads, initially around 347K, peaking at 462K in early May, and ending at 358K. Active users showed a modest increase from 16M to nearly 18M over the quarter, indicating growing user engagement.
Amazon Shopping reported robust weekly revenue, starting at $5M and rising to over $5.5M by the end of June. Downloads remained stable, averaging around 350K, while active users consistently surpassed 105M, peaking at over 109M.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire faced a significant drop in downloads from over 1M at the beginning of the quarter to about 208K in early May, but recovered to nearly 398K by the end of June. The active user base mirrored this trend, decreasing from 44M to 19M mid-quarter, then rising to 22M.
