In the second quarter of 2025, the top social networking apps in Brazil showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat, published by Grindr LLC, saw a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $141K in early April and maintaining around $135K towards the end of June. Downloads peaked at 22K in mid-April, while weekly active users fluctuated, reaching over 1M by mid-June.
Life360: Stay Connected & Safe experienced a steady rise in weekly revenue, culminating at $49K by the end of June. Downloads remained strong throughout the quarter, with a high of 118K in late May. Active users consistently exceeded 6M, peaking at 6.3M in the final week.
Telegram Messenger maintained stable weekly revenue, closing the quarter at around $55K. Downloads showed resilience, peaking at 378K in late April, while active users hovered around 44M, with a slight uptick towards the end of June.
Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out displayed a varied revenue trend, reaching $63K at the start of the quarter and again at the end. Downloads saw an increase in April with 158K, while active users grew steadily, surpassing 9.8M by June's end.
Repost+ Social Media Manager had a stable revenue trend, ending June at $12K. Downloads were modest, peaking at 4.6K in early April. Active users remained above 25K throughout the quarter.
