State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the third quarter of 2025, the sports app market in Kenya saw significant activity on the Android platform. Here’s a look at the performance of the top five sports apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
eFootball™ showed a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at around $7.4K at the start of July and gradually declining to approximately $6.1K by the end of September. Downloads surged in early August, reaching 24.9K, while active users remained strong, peaking at 430K in mid-August.
EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer experienced a peak in weekly downloads at 28K in early August. Revenue reached $1.8K in the same period, while active users hit a high of 330K, with a subsequent decline towards the end of the quarter.
Dream League Soccer 2025 recorded a peak in downloads at 49.4K in early August. Weekly revenue remained relatively stable, hovering around $800. Active users peaked at 579K in early August, maintaining a substantial base throughout the quarter.
F1 TV saw a fluctuating revenue pattern, with a high of $950 at the beginning of July. Downloads were highest at 2.3K during the same period. Active user numbers started at 3.4K and saw a decrease as the quarter progressed.
Golf Rival - Multiplayer Game maintained a modest revenue stream, peaking at $526 in late September. Downloads and active users were relatively low, with slight fluctuations over the quarter.
