In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of the leading carpooling and ridesharing apps on Android in France showed diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
During Q4, weekly downloads for Uber ranged from approximately 21.7K to 24.8K, with a noticeable peak early in October. Active users fluctuated around the 900K mark, peaking at over 1M in late November, before a dip towards the quarter's end.
Bolt experienced steady weekly downloads, starting at 21.5K and reaching a high of 23.1K in December. Active users showed a dynamic pattern, fluctuating between 307K and 416K, with notable increases in October and December.
BlaBlaCar saw weekly downloads fluctuate between 10K and 15.8K, with a significant spike in the third week of December. Active user numbers were robust, ranging from 580K to 830K, peaking mid-December.
Downloads for Uber's driver app varied between 7.5K and 10.6K, with a decline observed towards the end of the quarter. Active users hovered around 90K, with a peak of approximately 98K at year-end.
Heetch downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 5.5K to 7.2K. Active users saw an upward trend, reaching over 111K in November before settling around 83K by December.
