In the fourth quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing sector in Peru saw varied performance among the top five apps on the Android platform. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here's a closer look at the trends in weekly downloads and active users for these leading applications.
inDrive. Rides with fair fares saw a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads fluctuating around 47K to 54K. Notably, downloads peaked at approximately 53.6K in late October. The app maintained a robust presence in terms of weekly active users, climbing from around 3.18M to a peak of 3.72M in mid-December, before settling at 3.25M by the end of the quarter.
For Yango: taxi, food, delivery, the quarter began with downloads at 35.6K, increasing steadily to reach over 42.6K in mid-December. Active users showed a significant rise during the quarter, starting from 1.39M and peaking at 1.75M, before ending the year at 1.26M.
Uber - Request a ride experienced a stable download rate, beginning at 16.5K and increasing to 17.5K by the quarter's end. Active users rose from 804K to over 1M by mid-December, with a slight dip to 787K by the end of the year.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides showed a steady increase in downloads, starting at 6.4K and reaching a peak of 13.1K in December. Active users saw growth from 570K to a high of 743K, before slightly decreasing to 548K.
Lastly, Cabify started the quarter with 7K downloads, peaking at 8K in mid-December. Active users grew from 282K to 404K in early December, dropping to 282K as the quarter concluded.
