In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of leading air travel apps on iOS in Australia showcased varied trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Virgin Australia saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 20.2K in late November. Active users fluctuated, with a significant rise to 225K in the same period, before settling around 186K by the end of December.
Qantas Airways maintained a steady download rate, with a peak of 12.9K in late November. Active users varied, starting at 466K, dipping mid-quarter, and recovering to 440K by year-end.
Jetstar experienced consistent weekly downloads, reaching a high of 12.9K in late November. Active users showed a decline from 181K to 138K by the end of the quarter.
Velocity Frequent Flyer had downloads peaking at 10.1K in early November, but saw a downward trend to 6.8K by the end of December. Active users peaked at 140K mid-quarter, ending at 124K.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker experienced a surge in downloads, notably reaching 11.4K in late December. Active users also increased significantly from 179K to 261K by the end of the quarter.
