2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top five food delivery apps on the iOS platform in the United States showed varied performance trends across downloads and active users. This analysis is based on data from Sensor Tower.
DoorDash: Food, Grocery, More experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 297K at the beginning of the quarter and reaching around 344K by the end. Weekly active users also showed an upward trend, peaking at about 20M in the final week of December.
Uber Eats: Food & Groceries maintained a stable pattern in weekly downloads, starting with 134K and ending with 175K. Active users were fairly consistent, fluctuating around 7M throughout the quarter.
The DoorDash - Dasher app showed a steady increase in downloads, from 138K to 154K by the quarter's end. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 2.7M to 2.6M over the same period.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw a decline in weekly downloads from 110K to 68K. However, active users exhibited a peak at approximately 3.2M in early December before dropping to 2.2M by the end of the quarter.
Finally, Instacart: Groceries & Food demonstrated a steady download rate, starting at 94K and ending at 89K. Active users peaked at 7.8M in early December but showed a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.
