2026 State of Mobile is Live!

During the fourth quarter of 2025, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Latin America showed varying trends in downloads and active users. Sensor Tower provides insights into these key metrics.
Uber - Request a ride saw weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at about 732K and peaking at over 917K in mid-December. Active users rose steadily from 48.6M in early October to a high of 55.3M in mid-December, before dropping to 43.9M by the end of the quarter.
inDrive. Save on city rides experienced a moderate increase in downloads, beginning at around 501K and reaching a peak of approximately 552K in late December. The app's active users also increased from 17.9M to 21.3M by mid-December, followed by a decline to 17.3M at the quarter's close.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides maintained steady download numbers, averaging around 450K weekly, with a notable rise to 506K in mid-December. Active user counts showed an upward trajectory from 29.1M to a peak of 33.7M, before ending at 26.5M.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had downloads ranging from 243K to a high of 300K in mid-October, with a slight dip towards the end of the year. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 7.7M and peaking at 8.2M in late December.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery showed a decline in downloads from 239K to 146K by the end of December. Active users, however, exhibited a growth trend, increasing from 4.9M to 5.7M mid-quarter, before dropping to 4M.
