2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications in Spain showcased varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, as tracked by Sensor Tower.
Revolut: Send, spend and save demonstrated a fluctuating but overall declining trend in weekly downloads, starting with approximately 98.6K and ending the quarter at around 77.2K. In contrast, the app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users peaking at about 4.8M by the end of December.
Santander España experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, beginning at about 49K and dropping to 26.7K by the quarter's end. However, active users demonstrated resilience, with numbers fluctuating and ending at roughly 5.9M.
CaixaBankNow: Online banking saw its weekly downloads decrease from 50K to 23.9K over the quarter. Despite this, the app's active user count remained strong, closing the quarter with around 8.2M users.
imagin・Mobile Bank & Finance had a varied download pattern, peaking at 47.8K mid-December before falling to 29K by the end of the quarter. Its active user base showed a slight increase, ending the quarter at approximately 4M.
BBVA Spain | Online banking maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 45.2K and decreasing to 26.1K. The app saw a strong active user base, with numbers reaching around 7.1M by the end of December.
