The fourth quarter of 2025 saw notable trends in the consumer finance app market in France. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here's a closer look at the top five apps on the unified platform.
Revolut: Send, spend and save maintained high weekly downloads, peaking at 137K in late October. Despite a slight dip in December, downloads stabilized around 112K by the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter with nearly 6M.
BoursoBank experienced a surge in downloads, reaching over 110K in mid-November and finishing strong with 93K at the year's end. Active users rose steadily, topping at approximately 8.1M in late December.
Ma Banque saw a gradual decline in downloads, starting from 49K in early October to 30K by December's close. However, active users remained robust, consistently hovering around 9.9M, peaking slightly above 10M in early December.
La Banque Postale exhibited stable download numbers, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter, closing at 19K. Active user engagement was strong, with numbers reaching 6.5M by the end of December.
Crédit Mutuel, Banque en ligne had a consistent download rate, ending at 13K in December. Active users showed a slight decline overall but saw a slight uptick in mid-December, reaching approximately 4.8M.
