In the fourth quarter of 2025, the performance of food delivery services in Kenya showcased intriguing trends across major platforms. Here's a closer look at the top-performing apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Uber Eats: Food and Grocery saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from 1.8K and peaking at 20.8K in early November. Active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at 64.7K in mid-November before tapering to around 52K by the end of December.
Glovo: Food & Grocery Delivery maintained a steady download rate, starting at 15K and experiencing a surge to 17.7K in late December. Active users remained strong, hovering around the 300K mark throughout the quarter, peaking at 344K in early December.
Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway experienced a gradual increase in downloads, moving from 6.9K to 8.3K in early December. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, reaching 93.9K by the end of the quarter.
Dial a Delivery had fluctuating downloads, with a notable peak at 6.5K in late December. Active users remained relatively stable around 27K throughout the period.
Lastly, Ji Boost showed variable download numbers, starting with 529 and peaking at 6.6K in mid-December.
