App Store Search Suggestions and Trending Searches Now Available

Now you don't have to flip back and forth between Sensor Tower and your iOS device. Find out how you can get Trending Searches and Search Suggestions in one place.

We added Related Searches to our platform last month, but that was just the beginning. Today we are happy to announce that we have also added Search Suggestions and Trending Searches to our Keyword Research module. This post will show you where the data comes from and how you can use this information to improve your ASO keywords.

Search Suggestions

Reviewing Apple's autocomplete search suggestions on an iOS device can be a great way to find new keywords. Here is an example from an iPhone.

Now, instead of having to flip back and forth between Sensor Tower and your iOS device, Apple's search suggestions are provided in Keyword Research. To see all of the search suggestions, click on more.

As you can see from the example iPhone screenshot above, reviewing search suggestions on smaller devices can require some scrolling. By using our Keyword Research module, you have easy access to all of the suggestions.

If you don't need to see all of the search suggestions at the moment, just click on less to only show the first row of keywords. This will clean up your screen and make it less distracting.

Trending Searches

We get Trending Searches directly from the Apple servers. Here is a sample of these keywords on an iPhone.

This is what the Trending Searches box looks like in our Keyword Research module. We display a lot more keywords because the Apple servers provide more trending search keywords than what you can see on your device. Just like with Search Suggestions, you can choose to see all of the keywords, or hide them when you aren't researching Trending Searches.

Conclusion

These recent additions to our Keyword Research module make it much easier for you to get more keyword ideas. They save you the time because you won't have to keep flipping back and forth between your iOS device and your Sensor Tower dashboard.

Search Suggestions and Trending Searches are only available on paid plans. If you are on a paid plan, give it a try right now and let us know what you think.
