The top grossing mobile app in Southeast Asia for November 2022 was TikTok from Bytedance with close to $8.6 million, an increase of 39.7 percent year over year. 33.1 percent of TikTok’s revenue in Southeast Asia was from Malaysia, followed by 21 percent from Indonesia and 16.6 percent from Vietnam. The full ranking of the top grossing mobile apps for November 2022 is above. Mobile app revenue estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.
Google One from Google was the second highest earning mobile app in Southeast Asia for November 2022 with close to $5.1 million in user spending. 35.4 percent of Google One’s revenue in Southeast Asia was from Singapore, followed by 22.3 percent from Indonesia and 14.4 percent from Vietnam.
The next top grossing mobile apps were Vidio from PT Kreatif Media Karya, YouTube from Google and iQIYI from QIYI.
The Southeast Asia mobile apps market generated an estimated $109.7 million from user spending across the App Store and Google Play in November 2022, marking an increase of 9.2 percent year over year. The No.1 market for Southeast Asia revenue in November 2022 was Thailand, which generated close to $26.5 million, or 24.1 percent of total user spending in Southeast Asia. Indonesia ranked No. 2 for revenue at 21 percent, followed by Malaysia at 16.1 percent.
