The most downloaded language app worldwide for Q1 2019 was Duolingo with more than 14.5 million installs. The markets with the most new Duolingo installs during this period were the United States at 19 percent of total downloads and Brazil at 11 percent. U-Dictionary was the second most installed language app worldwide last year with more than nine million installs, with the single largest portion of those coming from India at 61 percent, followed by Indonesia at 14.5 percent. Babbel, Busuu, and Quizlet rounded out the top five most installed language apps worldwide for the quarter.
