Top Social Networking Apps Worldwide for Q1 2019 by Downloads

The most downloaded social networking app worldwide for Q1 2019 was TikTok with more than 188 million installs. The markets with the most new TikTok installs during this period were India at 47 percent of total downloads and China at 7.5 percent. The full top 10 ranking of social networking apps worldwide by downloads for Q1 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.

Facebook was the second most installed social networking app worldwide last quarter with more than 176 million installs, with the single largest portion of those coming from India at 21 percent, followed by Indonesia at 10.5 percent. Instagram, LIKE, and Snapchat rounded out the top five most installed social networking apps worldwide for the quarter.
