The Candy Crush franchise continues to blow past its monthly revenue totals for 2018, as King's iconic series is seeing higher player spending than ever in its more than six year history. Last month, the four games combined brought in more than $118 million worldwide, according to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence data, which was 20 percent more than in February 2018.
The original Candy Crush Saga accounted for almost $74 million of that, which signified year-over-year growth of 36 percent. Candy Crush Soda Saga was the second-largest revenue generator with approximately $27.4 million, while Candy Crush Jelly Saga contributed an estimated $5.1 million.
Key to the franchise's substantial year-over-year growth last month was its latest entry, Candy Crush Friends Saga, which grossed $11.1 million globally according to our data. Launched in October, the game has amassed nearly $57 million in player spending so far, with a Chinese launch expected later this month from King's publishing partner NetEase.
