Coin Master Rakes in $500 Million Globally as It Cashes in On Success in Great Britain, Germany, and the U.S.

Since February 2019, Coin Master has been the number one top grossing mobile game every month in Great Britain, Sensor Tower data shows.

Coin Master by Israel-based developer Moon Active has bagged more than $508 million in lifetime gross revenue from over 81 million downloads, according to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates.

The hit mobile game has grown exponentially since January 2019. In December 2018, the title grossed $10.4 million for the month and then saw an increase of 53.6 percent to $16 million in January 2019.

Coin Master had its best month in July 2019 when it generated $53.5 million, up 607.8 percent year-on-year from $7.5 million in July 2018. Sales from user spending in 2019 represents 78 percent of all gross revenue generated by the game to date.

Average revenue per download for the game currently averages at approximately $6.20.

Coin Master has been most successful in the United States, where it has grossed $260 million, or 51 percent of total revenue to date. Great Britain ranked second in terms of gross revenue, accounting for nearly $79 million, or 14.5 percent. Meanwhile, Germany took third with just over $52 million, or 10.3 percent.

Coin Master has been the top grossing mobile game in Great Britain every month since February 2019, and each month in Germany since June 2019, based on user spending.

Google Play took the lion's share of global revenue, with Android users spending more than $327 million, or 64.4 percent of all sales. The App Store meanwhile accounted for nearly $181 million, or 35.6 percent.

India has proven to be the most popular country for downloads, with Coin Master picking up over 26 million unique installs, or 32.1 percent of the total 81 million worldwide. The U.S. came second with 18.6 million downloads, or 22.9 percent, while Great Britain took third with 8.6 million, or 10.6 percent.

Google Play drove the majority of downloads, racking up 62.3 million unique installs, or 76.6 percent. The App Store generated 19 million downloads, making up 23.4 percent of the total.
