Fortnite Revenue October 2018

The wildly popular Fortnite from Epic Games may not be available on Google Play, but only being listed on the App Store has not held back the battle royale title from being one of mobile gaming's biggest successes of all time. In fact, according to Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence data, Fortnite has grossed more than $350 million to date from iPhone and iPad users alone.

Fortnite had an eventful October that saw the addition of Halloween themed cosmetic items and other extras for its players. In part thanks to these updates, the title grossed approximately $55.4 million over the course of the month. This figure represents a 6.3 percent increase compared to September. October's revenue was also high enough to rank Fortnite at No. 10 for spending among all apps, beating out titles available on both Google Play and the App Store.

The month of October also brought 3.9 million new players to the popular title on mobile. A majority of these users came from the United States, which accounted for 38 percent of October downloads and 65 percent of installs to date. For context, Fortnite has seen 74.2 million all-time downloads on iOS.
