Released one year ago this week, FunPlus's strategy title Guns of Glory has hit a major revenue target, surpassing worldwide revenue of $215 million according to Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence estimates. Last month, the strategy game ranked No. 32 among all apps worldwide when it grossed approximately $27 million.
Most of the app's financial success has come from the United States, which accounts for 43 percent of player spending at $92 million. South Korea represents the second largest commercial segment with 9.7 percent of all time worldwide revenue, or about $21 million.
The Guns of Glory user base appears to be predominantly Android-based, and the platform is responsible for 80 percent of the game's 26 million total downloads. In August, the title ranked No. 151 among all games worldwide in terms of downloads with 5.3 million new installs.
