Our App Store Optimization platform has become the industry standard and we are really happy to see the gains that our customers have made. But understanding ASO is really only half the story when it comes to doing app store research.
The other half is understanding how many downloads other apps are getting and how much revenue each app makes. This gives you much deeper insight into things like: how many downloads it takes to get on the Top Charts, how feature updates affect revenue, and more.
We have been working on our Store Intelligence product for a long time and we are happy to announce that it is finally officially available today. This post will show you what kind of information you can get out of it and how it will help you improve your app marketing.
Our Store Summary is the best place to start when using Store Intelligence. You will be able to see estimated downloads and revenue for either the Apple App Store or for Google Play.
The filters also allow you to only see a specific date range, a certain device, category or country. Examining the Store Summary module can also help you detect app store changes like algorithm updates and outages.
Researching a publisher's portfolio in another great way to find out what is working and what is not. You may find that an app that you think is doing really well is actually not the best app in a publisher's portfolio.
The Publishers module can also help you discover competitors who are flying under the radar. They may not be famous, but they might be doing much better than more well known publishers. Learn what they are doing and how you can use that information to improve your apps.
Last, but certainly not least, you can compare individual apps to see how well they are doing on particular stores, devices and countries. Find out how well their promotions have been working and how your apps stack up.
Was that million dollar ad that they created really worth the money they spent? If it was, maybe you should do something similar.
In our extensive testing, we have compared our estimated download and revenue numbers to actual customer data from our early adopters program and they are excellent estimates. The best way to find out how accurate they are is to compare it to your own data. We also challenge you to compare our estimates to other intelligence products out there.
Our Store Intelligence platform also offers other benefits such as API access and CSV exports. It is available for Enterprise level plans only and is a separate offering from our App Intelligence (ASO) platform. To get a one-on-one demo, head on over to this page and sign up for one of the available slots.
Note: We are in the process of hiring more great team members, but until we can fill all the positions, demos are limited and will be done on a first come basis.
