Marvel Strike Force from FoxNext Games got off to a strong start when it grossed its first $25 million in just 97 days. Thanks to a record September, the next $25 million came in even faster at 95 days. At this steady pace, Marvel Strike Force has grossed more than $55 million to date according to Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence estimates.
September's revenue was Marvel Strike Force's largest single-month earnings to date. The RPG from FoxNext grossed an estimated $8.9 million over the course of the month. This level of earnings marks an 8 percent month-over-month increase compared to August's revenue. Downloads in September were also up month-over-month; the title's 1.2 million downloads during the period represent a 53 percent improvement over August.
Most of the game's success has come from the United States, which accounts for 62 percent, or $34 million, of player spending to date. Great Britain represents the title's second largest market with 5.3 percent of gross revenue. In terms of downloads, the U.S. still holds the number one spot with almost 30 percent of installs. However, India and Brazil account for more downloads than Great Britain, despite not contributing as much financially.
Thanks to this global support, Marvel Strike Force as amassed more than 13.7 million installs over its life to date.
