Pandora Revenue Q1 2019

Pandora has seen a sharp increase in mobile user spending over the past year on Google Play, culminating with its best-ever quarter in Q1 2019. Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates show that the app generated approximately $54 million in gross revenue during the quarter, an increase of 52 percent year-over-year from $35.6 million in Q1 2018.

This record sum comes after four consecutive quarters of revenue growth for the app, with spending increasing about 13 percent between Q3 2018 and last quarter. Spending had decreased 16 percent quarter-over-quarter in Q1 2018.

The Y/Y growth seen last quarter was isolated to Google's platform. On Apple's App Store, revenue declined about 12 percent to approximately $53 million, down from $60 million in the first quarter of 2018.

Total mobile spending in Pandora reached an estimated $107 million last quarter, up 12 percent year-over-year from $95.7 million in Q1 2018.
