Top 10 Worldwide Mobile Games By Revenue and Downloads in October 2025

Last War: Survival Game by FUNFLY held its position as the world’s top-grossing mobile title in October 2025, followed by Honor of Kings, Royal Match, MONOPOLY GO! and Whiteout Survival completing the top five.

According to Sensor Tower’s App Performance Insights, Last War: Survival Game by FUNFLY retained its position as the highest-grossing mobile game worldwide, powered by consistent alliance-based live ops and rotating reward passes that continue to engage mid-core players worldwide.  Honor of Kings saw a sharp revenue uptick beginning October 24, driven by its 10th Anniversary Celebration. Players received limited-time vouchers, treasure draws, and premium character skins. The festivities culminated on October 26 with the live “Co-Creation Night” broadcast—an annual showcase featuring new content reveals, celebrity guests, and in-stream rewards. The event lifted in-app purchases 11% month-over-month, underscoring how large-scale anniversary campaigns sustain long-term engagement and monetization.

Halloween-themed live ops were a major unifying trend in October, as publishers used festive aesthetics and limited-time rewards to boost engagement and spending. Seasonal events blended gameplay progression with celebration, demonstrating how timely content updates can reinvigorate even long-running titles.

Together, these seasonal updates underscored how coordinated live ops and cosmetic-driven rewards continue to fuel engagement and monetization across leading titles.

Global consumer spending on mobile games across the App Store and Google Play reached $6.8 billion in October, up 4.5% month-over-month. The United States led with 32% of total revenue, followed by China (iOS only) at 14.8% and Japan at 12%.

Among the top growth charts, several titles saw notable momentum. Pokémon TCG Pocket marked its first anniversary with the “Mega Rising” update on October 30, introducing Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and new social features that revitalized engagement, especially in Japan and the U.S.

SD Gundam G Generation Eternal gained traction with its new story season, Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory Part 2, featuring fan-favorite units Gundam GP03 (EX) and Neue Ziel (EX), reigniting spending among long-time fans.

Chaos Zero Nightmare, Smilegate’s newly launched turn-based RPG, debuted strongly, entering the top 10 for revenue growth. Its blend of tactical combat, cinematic storytelling, and anime-inspired sci-fi visuals distinguished it from traditional RPGs, signaling Smilegate’s shift toward more stylized, narrative-driven gameplay.

Overall, October’s top earners combined strong IPs, live ops, and regional appeal—demonstrating how dynamic content and event-driven engagement continue to shape global mobile revenue.

Top 10 Worldwide Mobile Games Download Rankings for October 2025

Block Blast! claimed its position as the most downloaded mobile game globally in October 2025.  ROBLOX placed #2, followed by Free Fire, X-Clash and Subway Surfers completing the top five.

Block Blast!  rose three positions to reclaim the No. 1 spot. Its “Spooktacular Halloween!” event, launched on October 12, introduced new spooky levels and themed rewards, helping to sustain user acquisition momentum across major casual markets such as the United States, Indonesia, and India.

ROBLOX  and Free Fire ranked No. 2 and No. 3 globally, respectively, both maintaining strong engagement through large-scale seasonal updates. ROBLOX energized its community with platform-wide Halloween content like Halloween Spotlight, while Free Fire kept its momentum through a lineup of crossover and festive events, including Light Fest 2025, and Flame Arena. 

Global mobile game downloads reached 3.78 billion in October, up 2.2% month-over-month. India led with 676 million downloads (18%), followed by the United States (7%) and Brazil (6.5%).

X-Clash was October’s fastest-growing title, topping global download growth charts and securing the No. 4 spot worldwide. The 4X strategy game from Glaciers Game blends base-building, hero collection, and real-time skirmishes within a vivid high-fantasy world. Its streamlined design and quick battle format make the genre more accessible to mobile audiences, fueling viral adoption in India, Brazil, and Indonesia.

EA SPORTS FC Mobile climbed to No. 4 by downloads growth and No. 9 by global downloads, boosted by its Vietnam launch in mid-October, where it quickly became the country’s most downloaded mobile title of the month. A series of global football events—featuring award-themed tournaments, continental club competitions, and cultural collaborations—kept players active and engaged across major markets including Brazil, India, and Indonesia.

ScarFall 2.0: Battle Royale made a strong debut in October, ranking No. 7 by downloads growth following its global launch. Developed by XSQUADS, the India-made title delivers a modern combat experience with optimized controls and realistic 3D visuals. Its offline play option, customizable loadouts, and fast-paced respawn mechanics set it apart from traditional battle royales, offering a smoother, more accessible experience for mobile players.

October’s download trends highlighted the balance of seasonal engagement, regional expansion, and genre diversity. Halloween events, cultural tie-ins, and localized launches proved highly effective in sustaining player interest and driving global download growth across both casual and mid-core segments.
