Top Apps in Europe for Q1 2019 by Downloads
See the top apps in Europe for Q1 2019 by downloads, according to Sensor Tower data.
WhatsApp was the most downloaded app in Europe for Q1 2019 with more than 44 million installs. The highest percentage of those installs were from Russia at 28 percent, followed by Turkey at 18 percent and France at nine percent. The full top 10 ranking of apps in Europe by downloads for Q1 2019 is above. App download estimates are from Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence platform.
Color Bump 3D was the second most downloaded app in Europe last quarter with close to 36 million installs. Messenger, Instagram, and TikTok rounded out the top five most installed apps in the region.
Store Intelligence users can see app download estimates for the above apps in addition to historical performance metrics on the Sensor Tower platform. Our estimates include downloads for the App Store and Google Play in Europe between Jan. 1, 2018 and Mar. 31, 2018. Apple apps and Google pre-installed apps are excluded. We report unique installs only. Android estimates do not include third-party stores. Figures represent aggregate installs of all app versions, ex: Facebook and Facebook Lite.
