Tinder was the top grossing non-game app worldwide for May 2019 with more than $81.5 million in user spending, which represented 23 percent year-over-year growth from May 2018. The country with the largest portion user spending in Tinder for the quarter was the United States at 47 percent, followed by Great Britain at 5.4 percent of the total. The second highest grossing app worldwide during May was Netflix with more than $63 million in user spending. The United States was the app’s top country in terms of this spending at 49 percent of the total revenue, followed by Great Britain at 5 percent. The next top grossing app was YouTube, followed by Tencent Video and iQIYI. Four of the top five apps were from streaming video platforms.
