The top grossing Sports app worldwide for December 2019 was DAZN with more than $13.3 million in user spending, which represented an almost 3x increase from December 2018. Approximately 36 percent of DAZN’s revenue was from the United States, followed by 21.6 percent from Japan and 13.2 percent from Germany. ESPN was the second highest earning Sports app worldwide for December 2019 with more than $8.7 million in gross revenue, which represented more than 3x growth year-over-year growth from December 2018. Almost all of ESPN’s revenue was from the U.S. The next top grossing app was NBA, followed by onX Hunt and UFC.
