Uber was the most downloaded ridesharing and taxi app in Europe for May 2019 with close to 2.1 million installs, which represented 13.3 percent year-over-year growth from May 2018. The largest share of those installs were from Russia at 32 percent, followed by Great Britain at 15 percent and France at 11 percent. Yandex was the second most installed ridesharing and taxi app in Europe last month with more than 1.2 million installs, which represented 13 percent Y/Y growth from May 2018. The highest percentage of those installs were from Russia at 88 percent and Belarus at 8 percent. BlaBlaCar, Bolt, and Mytaxi rounded out the top five most installed ridesharing and taxi apps in the region.
