Kongregate's AdVenture Capitalist raked in approximately $407,000 in gross revenue over the course of September. With this new income, the title has surpassed worldwide gross revenue of $20 million according to Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence estimates.

Most of the capitalism-themed idle game's success has come from capitalist nations. The U.S. accounts for over 70 percent of player spending with $15.4 million to date, and Great Britain has contributed the second most with $2.2 million in gross revenue, or about 10 percent.

The AdVenture Capitalist user base is split evenly between Android and iOS. The App Store is responsible for 51 percent of the game's 33.6 million all-time downloads. Google Play accounts for the remaining 16.4 million installs. Just last month, AdVenture Capitalist closed out September with 591,000 downloads.
