King Just Had Its Best 12 Months of Candy Crush Revenue Ever

Candy Crush revenue was more than $900 million worldwide between July 2017 and July 2018, according to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates.

King's nearly six-year-old puzzle title is in the midst of a renaissance that's lasted a year—and shows no signs of ending soon. Candy Crush Saga revenue from playing spending between August 2017 and July 2018 totaled $930 million according to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates, its highest grossing 12 months since launching in 2012.

This period's earnings for the game represented a 34 percent increase over the preceding 12 months, during which Candy Crush Saga saw approximately $693 million in gross player spending across the App Store and Google Play.

December 2017 was the game's best month ever in terms of revenue, seeing $86 million of spending on in-app purchases. This has declined gradually over the succeeding months to approximately $68 million in July. Still, this was
